Mission Ocean
Presented by Global Ocean CommissionWe are currently building our two Clinton Global Initiative programs, the Plastic Disclosure Project (PDP), and the Global Alert platform, each of which are cross-border, scalable tools to bring businesses and individuals together to focus on reducing plastic pollution while inspiring its value as a resource. The PDP requests for annual reporting of plastic use or waste creation, like that of carbon or water use, while Global Alert is a community based mapping tool that allows for reporting of trash hot-spots in our waterways and coastlines. Each of these complement the GOC’s goals for prevention of pollution from our daily activities, benefitting the ocean along the way.
